A soldier is stumbling towards the ambulance asking for a surgeon and one of Napoleon's Chasseurs has turned to see what is happening. The wounded soldier begins to clamber up to the doors at the back of the carriage. The eyes of the Chasseur, watching you, seem to glaze over and he turns away, as if unconcerned.
