The wardroid rises dramatically on its hover thrusters just as you fire. Your plasma blast ionises the gas in a long stream turning it from yellow to red, but it has passed beneath the wardroid which sweeps the area with a laser cannon. You are caught in the beam and sliced neatly into two at the waist. The shock kills you.
